Mark the cut lines, then use a bandsaw or abrasive cutoff wheel (not a torch, which would distort the lemon profile and ruin the fit). After cutting, deburr the cut ends with a file. Ensure at least 150 mm of overlap remains at maximum extension. A portion of that power is diverted through the PTO gearbox to a splined stub shaft protruding from the rear of the tractor.
